Xera Tech has successfully executed a decorative street lighting installation along the temple pathway at Shree Rameshwar Temple. The elegant poles feature traditional trishul (trident) motifs at the crown, honouring Lord Shiva, combined with ornate scrollwork designs and warm illumination.
Design rooted in devotion
Rather than deploying a generic ornamental pole, Xera Tech designed the fixture's crown specifically around the trishul — Lord Shiva's trident — a motif immediately recognisable to devotees and one that ties the lighting itself into the temple's own spiritual identity rather than treating it as neutral street furniture.
Function alongside form
Beyond the visual design, the installation is intended to directly improve devotee safety during evening hours along the temple pathway — a stretch that sees foot traffic well after sunset, particularly during festival periods and evening aarti, when adequate, warm-toned illumination matters as much for safe footing as for atmosphere.
Warm illumination and ambience
The fixtures use a warm light temperature rather than a stark white LED tone, a deliberate choice for heritage and temple lighting projects, since warmer illumination reads as more in keeping with a sacred setting's traditional lamps and diyas than the cooler white light typical of standard municipal street lighting.
Part of Xera Tech's temple-lighting portfolio
This installation sits within Xera Tech's broader line of temple-motif decorative poles — including Shiva, trishul, lotus and diya themed designs — supplied for heritage precincts and pilgrimage towns across Maharashtra and other Jyotirlinga and temple-town markets nationally. All of the company's outdoor decorative poles carry IP65 protection as standard and are built to BIS (IS 10322), PWD and ERDA-approved specifications, with Xera Tech holding ISO 9001:2015 certification as a manufacturer.
A recurring theme across Xera Tech's project work
Temple and heritage-precinct lighting has become a consistent thread in Xera Tech's project portfolio, spanning pilgrimage towns and temple roads across multiple states — the Shree Rameshwar Temple installation is the latest addition to that growing body of completed religious-site lighting work.
